Surviving the Domestic Jungle

I just finished catching up on this show I really enjoy called “The Event” and let me tell you, it is fabulous and keeps you guessing. I used to be a hardcore LOST fan and once it ended, I had nothing to turn to for my thought provoking television…..until “The Event” came. It has all the elements that I enjoy. A little mystery, a little fantasy, secrets and an attractive cast! While there is no Sawyer on “The Event”, the men aren’t too shabby! Anyway, it is a really great show and now that I am hooked, I worry that it will be cancelled. I hope not but for those of you that have no clue what it is about, it is about aliens who crashed on earth 60 something years ago and half were captured and imprisoned while the other half blended into human society and got jobs in the right fields to help their people. Some joined the government while some became pilots etc. They look human but the only thing is, they don’t age. Well, they age but slowly. The government knows about them and as the season is progressing, things are becoming increasingly violent between the aliens and the President. Also, there is a side storyline about some old man who I cant quite figure out his purpose. Either or, it is a fabulous show and it keeps you engaged. I highly recommend that anyone and everyone check it out.
