Surviving the Domestic Jungle

We have been away at the family ranch the past four days and it was Hudson’s first road trip! He is officially 2 weeks old and he sleeps through the night and really enjoyed his mini vacation! Hailey also had a blast running around and Avery had a great time playing with her cousin. I told my husband when we came home that I like going away on trips but I love to come home! I love where we live and our life has never been more settled and I finally feel content. We have had some bumps and being pregnant and hormonal was not easy but we thankfully seem to be settling into our new life as parents of three quite well. The girls adjusted really quickly as well which is a huge relief for me! I miss my one on one with Hailey but she is such a daddys girls that I was second rate before Hudson came. Im going to start working out tomorrow even though I probably dont need to! My son is an eating machine and literally sucking the few pounds I did gain right off me! I am starving all the time because he eats so much and so often!! I keep losing weight and my stomach is practically flat again. The muscles and skin are loose but that will come back quickly if I workout. I am going to do a combo of workout dvds and walking (which benefits my kids as well) and of course watch what I eat. I try to be healthy but I do have a very big sweet tooth so junk does slip through…..often….everyday…..a couple times a day!! Im bad… Anyway, hopefully I will be as good as new within a few weeks being summer is upon us!!
