We are in the process of moving and let me just say, it is painful! Just awful doing all of this pregnant. I have to rest every ten minutes because I don’t want to overexert myself and my youngest Hailey is being very helpful by taking things out of boxes that I just put in!! Its 10am and I have done the stairs countless times and I’m ready for a nap! Pregnancy does not mix well with moving. I, of course, am beyond excited to move into our new, superior house! The main way it is superior is wood floors everywhere but the bedrooms (finally no stains on the carpet!!) and one story!! That is what makes me the most excited! No more baby gates to struggle with and I no longer have to worry about my or my children falling down the stairs and it will makeĀ moving in a breeze! Its a really pretty house and soon enough I will be in it and not whining and complaining. I’m looking forward to Thanksgiving so that I can take a day off from all of this. We are kind of moving quickly and the stress and all the details to remember is overwhelming at times. I’m so grateful for my great friends and family for all the help they have provided. I really do have some special friends. Without the help a few of them have provided, or will provide in the future, I don’t know if we would have been able to pull all of this off so smoothly. I really have come to realize how wonderful having good friends can be. It makes me want to be a better person and friend because of the generosity I have been shown. There will be a big ‘Thank You’ bash at my new house for them as soon as I can get organized! It might be 2015 by then but it will happen! Wish me luck in all of the staircase climbs and box packing!!

First off I wnted to say Hello, bc it has been a while since I have commented, Sorry its the Holidays…. But I’m catching up now,
So in some of your previous blogs you have mentioned that your parents don’t currently live close to you and your family, and i know how much you love them and miss them all the time, so I have to ask, are you getting to move closer to them. And how far long are you and aren’t you worried about switchin MD this far down the prgo road? And you have said that you are having to do the majority of the packing because you husband is still working, is he going to be able to help unpack, LOL. Is he having to change Jobs to, what about your health Ins? And your oldest school and Girl scout! And arent you some type for leader for her pack? O wow I bet you can’t tell I’m a Worrie Mommy!!! LOL sorry!

How are the kiddos coping? I know when I move the kids aren’t really bothered but every person is different? So does your older daughter go to school? If so shes going to have to change. How have you been preparing her? Also I remember the blog along time ago that stated that your older daughters father is not your husband. How is he taking to you guys moving is it closer to him or further and how does she feel about it? I guess I am a lot like Leslie just a curious mom. I like to know how other people cope or deal with things and see if I can relate or if I can get some ideas. Thank you!

Ok, here we go! I am getting to move much closer to my whole family. My parents and all my siblings are all about 45 minutes or less away. I am now 7 months and was very stressed about changing drs. It has not been a fun process but I think I have decided on a birthing center which scares me to death but sounds like a nice experience. I have friends and family and as soon as they get over being sick, I am hoping someone helps me out!! As far as insurance goes, nothing as of yet. Not fun! Yes, my daughter was a girl scout and I told them obviously I was moving and couldnt lead the troop so maybe there is a new troop here we can get involved in.

The kids are great! My kids are very adaptable as long as mommy is with them. My oldest is in Kindergarten and started yesterday at her new school and she seemed to have had a good day so everything seems to be ok there. Her father is now farther away and he wasnt thrilled with us moving but he knew it was best for Avery. She is closer to all of my family and his family and maybe one day he will move here too.
